Seamus Golf, is excited to add a little bit of team spirit to the golf bags of Team USA at the 2016 Ryder Cup this week with its made-to-order American Flag headcovers, requested by longtime patron and PGA Tour player Matt Kuchar.
Kuchar has carried a variety of Seamus Golf’s unique headcovers in his golf bag the past couple of years. You may have seen our limited-edition Stars + Stripes Fairway with him at the Olympics this past summer where he won the bronze medal. This week he gifted fellow Ryder Cup team members and captains personalized, custom made American Flag headcovers for the tournament in Chaska, Minnesota.
“We received a last minute request from Mr. Kuchar who wanted to surprise the team with special headcovers for this exciting event,” said Akbar Chisti, president of Seamus. “He’s been a long time fan of ours and we were thrilled to fulfill his request.”

The American Flag cover is one of our most time intensive headcovers, requiring precise craftsmanship to complete. Each of the 13 stripes is individually hand cut and sewn by in-house artisans and all fifty stars are custom embroidered on our high-quality machines. Each cover is made from 100% wool, milled in the Pacific Northwest and features a custom leather label bearing the team member’s name.
