Weather is a common topic of discussion in Portland. One might often hear ‘if you don’t like the weather in Portland wait an hour’. While this could be said about a lot of places our recent experience at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club proved that saying has some truth. The SEAMUS GOLF team was invited to Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club to showcase some of our products to tournament directors. While participants of the event were warming up on the range, we watched the weather turn from sunny, to rain, to hail and back to sunny.

The event was great. We had a blast meeting everyone and the weather actually kind of held up during the round. Pumpkin Ridge is one of our favorite local clubs and it was a pleasure to be back out there. It was also nice to see several players sporting the SEAMUS GOLF tartans.
Our team was composed of Zach, Molly, Akbar and Nic. While we didn’t break any course records (we shot a scramble 66), our back nine rally was exciting. Molly held the team together while each of us tried to display some sort of game here and there. One thing that can be said about Pumpkin ridge is that no matter how bad you play, the course will always take your breath away.

17th at Pumpkin Ridge's Ghost Creek is a reachable par 4.
The beauty of never hitting a fairway is you get to spend time with these guys

Loved it. My friend and I took a golf trip to Portland this past fall and played Pumpkin Ridge. Absolutely beautiful views and the course was very playable.
