The Largest Seamus Golf Ball Marker Collection // Jeff Marsh

The Largest Seamus Golf Ball Marker Collection // Jeff Marsh

Over the years we have encountered countles talented people in the golf space who have grown to become friends of Seamus. You'll see we regularly share Jeff Marsh's ever-expanding ball marker collection on social media. His collection consists of over 80(!) of our Hand Forged® Ball Markers, his story on how the collection started and what it has evolved into can be seen below. Jeff is a true friend of Seamus and we are happy to have him in our corner!

"I had acquired a couple several years ago, not really knowing a lot about the brand.  But I liked them.  I think the very first one I got was when I joined a lower level membership option for 2016 at Chambers Bay and it was one of our member gifts.

In 2019, I had the privilege of visiting the shop, see all the behind the scenes.  Loved all of it.  I am a big fan of artisan and analog work.  So it was really cool to see that application in golf goods when everything else is so modern.

In 2020 I visited Bandon for the first time in almost a decade, and noticed there was a ball-marker in each shop, so I decided to collect one from each course.  I think that is when my stoke for starting a little collection started.  I have since been to courses all over the country and it’s the only thing I look for in the pro shop.  Buying a hat or polo from every shop I visit would get really expensive, and those things dont last long.  Aside from my scorecard and pencil, I wanted a collectible that I could pass along to my kids.

Now my son activity helps curate our collection with me, which is really cool.  I recently was gifted 2 incredible displays from Brad Eaton, who custom makes all sorts of things via Tippets and Tales.  Now we are able to display our growing collection atop the fireplace mantle in our living room.  And after each trip I return from, I usually have 1-2 new Seamus markers to add to the display."
